How to play
Run your insurance company over 24 months. Goal: maximize your score while staying profitable and solvent.
-
Line of business rates — Each line (Motor, Home, Health, Life, Liability) has a rate slider. High rate = more margin but fewer customers; low rate = more volume but a worsening loss ratio.
-
Reinsurance — Cede part of your claims to a reinsurer: it protects solvency during major shocks but costs a premium that reduces your result.
-
Asset allocation (ALM) — Allocate investments between stocks (high but volatile returns) and bonds (stable, rate-sensitive). Generates investment income.
-
Reaction timer — At each event (storm, new regulation, competition...), you have 30 seconds to adjust your strategy: move at least one relevant slider before the timer ends to earn the bonus.
-
Solvency & score — Keep your solvency ratio above 100 %. The score rewards profitability and solvency within the target band. At 0 %, it is bankruptcy.
