A Data Story is a data cataloging project. It contains tables, variables and modalities that describe the structure and content of your data. It is the basic unit for organizing your data assets.

The structure follows a 4-level hierarchy:

• Data Story - Le projet principal (ex: Base Sinistres Auto)
• Table - Data tables (e.g.: claims_table, contracts_table)
• Variable - Table columns (e.g.: claim_amount, occurrence_date)
• Modalité - Possible values (e.g.: 'Auto', 'Home' for a type)

You can import data via CSV or Excel files. From the main page, use the import button and select the type of data to import. CSV templates are downloadable for each entity type.

Data Lineage is a graphical visualization that shows the relationships between your Data Stories, tables, variables and modalities. It helps you understand where your data comes from and how it is transformed. Access it from the detail page of a Data Story.

Each Data Story can be configured in Public or Private mode:

• Public - Visible to all logged-in users
• Private - Visible only by the author and administrators

Modifications and deletions are reserved for the author and superadmins.

Yes. All deletions are recorded in the action history. From the page History, you can restore deleted items in one click.
